Today 7th grade students got the opportunity to travel up to Indianapolis to check out exhibits at the Indiana State Museum. Students had fun exploring a variety of displays that showed different times in Indiana’s history, from the ice age all the way into the 21st Century! When they weren’t exploring the museum students were also able to participate in an “Engineering Solutions” program where they constructed creative designs to protect an egg from shattering when dropped from up high.

The state museum has a pendulum that tells time and every five minutes one of the pieces is knocked over. Students witnessed the knocking over of one of the 5 minute markers and they were very excited!
