Kona Ice is so YUMMY!!!
2nd grade
Mrs. Baughman: Second graders have had such a full week of learning and fun! We have been working on 2D shapes and their attributes in math. We got to celebrate our Student Treasures books with Ms. Tracy. We loved having her visit our classroom and getting to read our book we published to her! Kona Ice was a success! As you can tell the kids enjoyed it so much – we even had another special visitor in our room today – my daughter, Grace!
3rd grade
Mrs. Ely: These are exciting times in Third Grade! We are working on our Market Day stores! We are also working hard putting our Portfolios together to share with our families! We are working on a Mothers Day surprises too! We have been completing our end of the year testing and in our spare time we have been doing a little of our regular work! We are looking forward to our field trip tomorrow to the Brown County State Park and the Kona Ice Truck today!

Science
Scientist of the Week: Hazel Steinbrook
This week in science every student in grades 2-5 got to plant their own garden! We planted peas, kale, and lettuce. Kindergarten and first graders will plant theirs next week. A BIG THANK YOU to Hill Top Garden in Bloomington for providing the trays, soil, and seeds for over 200 students. A few of our super helpful 5th graders helped plant and get supplies ready for each class.
