Third grade mathematicians played “I’m the Greatest” to practice multi-digit subtraction. They had to create a subtraction equation using their six cards that would give them a greater difference than their partner. They enjoyed figuring out a strategy to help them win and were excited to use a calculator to check their partners’ answers.

Fifth Grade

Greek and Latin roots, prefixes, suffixes, subjects, predicates, realistic fiction, and themes are just some of the things we have been working on this week in 5th grade. We have also talked a lot about being responsible for our own behavior and learning,  We did take time, however, to stop and appreciate the beauty of nature outside of our classroom window!

Gym Giant

Hudson is Gym G.I.A.N.T. this week for having great sportsmanship in P.E.!!!
