One Month of BCMS!

We have hit the one-month mark of the school year, and BCMS isn’t slowing down! Between classes, dances, and athletics, our BCMS Eagles are always on the go. Check it out!

Mr. Webb’s 8th Grade Business Class began selling Eaglet Manufacturing products at lunch on Fridays. The new school year has brought new merchandise, and students have been excited to represent BCMS with their new spiritwear!

6th Graders in Mrs. Stanley’s class practice analysis skills with nature journaling: Notice, Ask Questions, and Infer.

BCMS Boys’ Tennis took on competition from Columbus this past week!

BCMS Cross-Country hosted their Invitational with 4 other schools competing as well!

In Mrs. Hoffman’s class, they began their study of the ancient Roman Colosseum. Mrs. Hoffman said, “They have a project to create from materials on hand at home/recycling, a scale model of the structure.  Avalon and Annaleigh were using math to determine how tall and wide their homemade creation needed to be using a meter/yard stick, pencil, and calculator.  The conversation/thinking between them was SO outside the box!  Social Studies combined art, math, construction/engineering, and technology for this project!”

BCMS ended the week with the first school dance of the year!! Students hung out with friends, danced to songs from all eras, and supported National Junior Honor Society’s concessions stand!
