Week of September 1, 2025

Preschool

This week in Preschool we began our Tree Study. We talked about the changing of seasons and how that affects trees, the color of the leaves, and what we can look forward to as we move into Fall.

Kindergarten

Kindergarten students practiced our number sense skills by matching cube towers to our number balloons above our tables.

First Grade

The first graders are learning a lot of new skills, routines, and enjoying some of the nice weather we are having at the beginning of September. We have had a great start to the year so far. 

First graders have been busy learning about reading to self, using math tools to solve problems, and designing and building structures with our STEM bins.

Second Grade

Second graders using dice to practice place value! 

Third Grade

Third graders practicing their sentence structure. 

Fourth Grade

Fourth graders having fun practicing their spelling words.

Fifth Grade

5th graders have started their volume zoo animals!

STEM

4th Graders are tracking data about their green anole lizard experiment and comparing it to a real life experiment with anoles that took place in Florida in 1941.

2nd Grade students working on an animal sort and classifying them based on common traits.
