This week in first grade, we studied Johnny Appleseed. The students did a STEM apple activity where they sampled three different types of apples. They sampled, red, yellow and green apples and decided which one was their favorite. Then we posted it on a chart and made a graph to go with it. The students loved the activity and especially eating the apples.
