Week of October 27, 2025

Preschool friends are loving the fall weather out on the playground!

Kindergarten learned all about being a firefighter from our guest speaker Mr. Hall.

Such an exciting week in first grade. Our field trip to the Brown County Public Library was a hit. Choosing a Halloween costume for Ms. Austin was a spooky treat. We also learned about nouns and practiced by naming nouns in a picture on the whiteboard. The week ended with Flashlight Friday activities and costumes.

First grade has had a fun week. We went to the library Wednesday. The students really seemed to enjoy it today. We did some partner reading out of the wonders book. They did a great job at partner reading, and hope to incorporate more of that during the year.

Second graders are hard at work building words during reading groups.

Third graders have been working on their personal narratives in writing. Today we focused on our problem and solution.

ELA students in the 4th and 5th grades have jumped right into these nine weeks with small group differentiated instruction!

Fifth graders got to participate in a blind apple taste testing! We were shocked with the results! It was interesting listening to everyone’s apple preferences!

First graders learning about camouflage and making and hiding their own camouflage moths.

Kindergarteners exploring materials that they will use to make their very own beanstalks that will stand on their own and hold weight. They are in the explore step of the design process for the beanstalk

STEM student of the week: Charlee Downs

Charlee is such a great listener. She is always eager to raise her hand and share her thoughts or responses in discussions during STEM activities. She is a model student who is not afraid to show her enthusiasm for STEM. Congratulations Charlee!
