Preschool
Preschoolers are practicing retelling the story of The Little Red Hen!!


Kindergarten
Kindergarten enjoys a safety lesson with Ms. Forest.

First Grade
Fun activities in first grade this week included a short u words partner game, making spelling words with Play-doh, read to self time, and listening to the book Pumpkin Jack to find out what happens to pumpkins when Halloween is over. We will be observing our classroom pumpkin to see if changes just like the pumpkin in the book.








First graders have been enjoying the nice weather these last couple of days with some extra recess at the end of the day. They also enjoy drawing pictures while we wait on the buses.



Second Grade
Second graders were challenged with creating a tower out of candy pumpkins and toothpicks to protect the farmers crops.

Third Grade
Third graders using foam tiles to create arrays. We are working to learn strategies for learning to multiply.


Fourth Grade
Fourth graders getting ready for lunch.

Fifth Grade
5th graders took a break from I-learn testing this week to work on our flower beds! They were a huge help!!

STEM
4th graders learning about energy transfer using solar panels, potato batteries, and more.
1st grade sitting quietly learning about sound on a sound scavenger hunt. Students were identifying how many sounds they could hear and later shared where each sound came from.
STEM Student of the Week: Jacqueline Ernstes
Jacq can always be found doing the right things, following directions, and being an example to others around her. She is always engaged in STEM. She does what it takes to inquire, ask questions, and solve problems. Congratulations Jacqueline.
