Third Grade
3rd grade Mathematicians have been working on comparing fractions with either the same denominator or same numerator. They are using fraction models to prove their answers.

Fourth Grade
4th Grade completed a decimal STEM project by creating a fruit salad. These are our top two favorites voted by the class. Way to go! We have also worked for over 6 weeks to gather information on various Indiana topics and write research papers. We have worked long and hard! We even included text features with captions.

Fifth Grade
Some things we did this week in 5th grade: Student-led grammar corrections and explanations, worked with partners on constructed responses, read and annotated sources, worked with partners on finding evidence to support our answers and worked on an iReady Mastery Check.

Circle of the State
Sprunica and Helmsburg had an incredible time in New Albany for our final concert with Circle the State With Song! We spent the whole day singing and making memories together. By the end, we were definitely tired, but it was completely worth it. Both schools did a wonderful job representing Brown County Elementary Schools with pride, positivity, and great attitudes. At our final concert, all of the students sounded absolutely amazing. I am so proud of their hard work and dedication!
