• BCHS Had a Strong Showing at ISSMA State Solo and Ensemble!

BCHS was at North Central High School for ISSMA State Solo and Ensemble over the weekend.

We had 4 Solo Events

Naje Bedja – Senior – Trumpet – Gold Rating with Distinction

Zack Reed – Senior – Bass Clarinet – Gold Rating

Alayna Jacobus – Freshman – French Horn – Gold Rating

Ely Wesley – Junior – Clarinet – Silver Rating

And Two Ensemble Events

BCHS Cl. Quartet – Naje Bedja, Zack Reed, Ely Wesley, Tori Klaker (Senior Clarinet) – Gold Rating with Distinction

BCHS Brass Quintet – Naje Bedja, Henry Himebaugh (Senior Trumpet), Alayna Jacobus, Jayce Riggle (Sophomore Trombone), Owen East (Sophomore Bass Trombone) – Gold Rating

• P.O.P. Festival Make-Up Date is Thursday, March 9

The Brown County P.O.P. Festival is back and better than ever, after getting postponed due to the weather. The festival will be on Thursday, March 9th! Check out our Instagram, “bc_p.o.p.festival” to get more information on the events we will be hosting the day of the festival itself! 

• Senior Slide Show

Seniors: Start getting those 2 to 3 pictures together for the senior slide show.  These pictures can be at any age but must be school appropriate.  Scan them with the student name in the subject line and send to seniorslides@browncountyschools.com If you have group pictures, all students in the group must be in the Class of 2023. Pictures are due by March 10th. Some pictures from spring sports and the prom will be added later–most likely in group form.

• Cap and Gown Orders

If you haven’t ordered your cap and gown please make sure to do so!  Go to herffjones.com and enter our school. (There are two Brown County High Schools so double check you have the correct one!)
