There was a nice turnout of students for this activity and fun time. The second graders are working hard this week taking the state test and looking forward to spring break.

Third Grade
Fourth Grade
Fourth grade enjoyed the warm temperatures this week. They also made Stanley fraction cups and “bunches” of character traits on bananas. We also had some friends pass their math facts.

Fifth Grade
Full STEAM ahead to invention convention! Students in ELA are working hard to complete pitch cards, packets, poster boards, documents, and most important of ALL, inventions!!!

STEM
This week in 2nd grade students started learning about grids and programming games. Students spent time creating games on the floor using mats and fake bones. Students took turns being Rosie the Robotic Dog and following the code they made for the floor games. Students were also introduced to older games to see what computer games and programs used to look like. Let’s just say they really love Oregon Trail.
This week 5th grade inventors have been working hard for the Invention Convention. They have so many excellent ideas. They have been working on prototypes, logbooks, and presentations. Students will present their inventions on Friday at the invention convention.
