Week of September 22, 2025
Preschool
Preschool started discussing weather changes this week, the beginning of Autumn, and how important trees are to our planet. Happy Fall!




Kindergarten
Kindergarten students drew self portraits to begin our “All About Me” writing project.

First Grade
Lots of hands-on learning happening in first grade and celebrating good behavior with a Bring Your Stuffed Animal to School day.






This week in first grade, we studied Johnny Appleseed. The students did a STEM apple activity where they sampled three different types of apples. They sampled, red, yellow and green apples and decided which one was their favorite. Then we posted it on a chart and made a graph to go with it. The students loved the activity and especially eating the apples.



Second Grade
Second graders started their informational writing this week. They are researching migration to create a main idea and details for their writing.



Third Grade
Third graders on a field trip to Blue Springs Caverns.

Fourth Grade
4th grade students spending time together at lunch.




Fifth Grade
Trying to find some fun ways to learn our states and capitals!!


STEM
4th graders designing ways to help with a mosquito problem in a town with too many mosquitoes. Students designed solutions for playgrounds, back yards, parks, and picnic areas.
Students in K-5 enjoying STEM night with stations involving paper circuits, rubber band cars, catapults, and stomp rockets.
STEM Student of the Week: Sawyer Reynolds
Sawyer enjoys STEM class and all things STEM that are taking place in the school. She is always focused and excited to share what she is learning. She shares, ask questions, problem solves, and works toward STEM success everyday. Congratulations Sawyer!
