Preschool

Kindergarten

Kindergarten has been learning how to care for our planet by reducing, reusing and recycling.

First Grade

First graders in Ms. Austin’s class started a new fluency routine where they get a chance to help the teacher.

In first grade this week, students had fun using dry erase markers and writing on their desks while we practiced math problems for the unit test. They had a blast with the markers and writing on their desks. It was a fun way to review.

Second Grade

2nd grade started a new fluency routine to help us become better readers. Students have enjoyed creating a new routine.

Third Grade

Fluency Time!  Third graders practicing their reading fluency with their partner.

Fourth Grade

Mrs. Feaster and the 4th grade are hard at work identifiying the parts of a sentence. The students will break down the parts of a sentence and use their new understanding of sentence structure to become better writers. We cannot wait to read the students’ stories!

Fifth Grade

Practicing perseverance takes… perseverance!
Fifth grade practiced following directions, making improvements and enjoying fruits of their labor by playing paper “football”.

STEM

This past week in STEM:

5 grade students putting in the hard work on their inventions for Invention Convention

2nd grade students learning how landforms help create rivers.

STEM Student of the Week: Brooklyn Crossley

Brooklyn is such a hard worker and puts 100% and more into her STEM work. She works hard to learn and if she works hard to make sure she doesn’t miss anything. Great job Brooklyn!
