2nd graders learned about erosion this week. They learned specifically how sand gets on the beach by following several model rocks down the river through the erosion process.
4th graders participated in a sugar shake this week. They used sugar cubes as model rocks as they learned about weathering. They were able to find out what happens to rocks over many years of tumbling down hills and hitting against other rocks.
