Van Buren students were investigative this week. Every grade got the opportunity to investigate real animal hearts such as deer, pig, sheep, and rabbit. Some grades learned how the heart works, investigated a nurse career choice, and completed a STEM activity that simulates how the heart pumps blood. Preschool earned their ice cream party, and had the best weather to celebrate themselves!
